Photo booth and photo kiosk that produce photo souvenirs
Brewers
Miller Park
home of the Milwaukee Brewers uses an interactive
kiosk designed programmed by Patrick with LTG that allows
the kids to use their own image for creating a souvenir
baseball card.
Patrick with LTG is
hired to do the programming, design and hardware for this very
ambitious project. The design needed to be heavily branded and
so strait forward anyone with a minute and a finger could make
it work. We selected a Dell CPU, a durable 17” POS style
touch screen, a standard Logitech computer camera, a standard
bill valuator and a Sony Die Sub printer. VEE would take the
components after they were ready and tested and mount them into
a giant walk-in baseball. This would give the final one-of-ais-kind
kiosk the finishing touches and turn a pile of fairly standard
computer hardware into a work of art.
Interface
The interface gives the user a live video feed for the purpose
of getting themselves into the desired position and having
the desired facial expression. The user can choose from 4
pre-designed baseball card templates.
The User can also enter their name using the creative touch
screen key board seen below.
The finished output is printed on a 3 1/2
by 5 photo quality glossy that has 2 copies of the baseball
card. When the print is cut in half you have a good approximation
of an actual baseball card.
